Privacy Policy

This policy explains how personal data is handled on this website.

This Privacy Policy explains how personal data is collected, used and protected when you use the Golden Visa Greece website, submit an inquiry, subscribe to updates or interact with services made available through the platform.

1. Who is responsible for your data

Golden Visa Greece is presented as a specialist residence platform by Synergia Technical & Consulting S.A. (“Synergia”), as shown in the website footer. For any question about who is responsible for your personal data, contact the privacy contact below.

2. Privacy contact

Privacy questions and requests: info@goldenvisa-greece.com.

3. What personal data we collect

Through our forms we collect the details you enter: name, email address, phone or WhatsApp number, country or nationality, approximate budget or investment interest, and the message you write. The newsletter form collects your email address. The website chat may ask for your email, phone and country before you start, and keeps the questions you type so that it can answer them. We also receive basic technical data (such as IP address, browser and pages visited) through the hosting and analytics services described below.

4. How we collect it

Directly from you when you submit a form, subscribe, book a consultation or use the chat; and automatically through cookies and similar technologies, only as described in our Cookie Policy.

5. Why we use it

To respond to your inquiry and arrange a consultation; to send updates you have asked for; to operate, secure and improve the website; to understand how the site is used; and to meet legal obligations.

6. Legal bases

Depending on the situation, we rely on your consent (for example newsletters and analytics cookies), on steps taken at your request before any agreement (answering an inquiry), on legitimate interests in running and securing the website, or on legal obligations. The applicable basis may differ by activity.

7. Forms and inquiry handling

Contact, consultation and chat forms are sent through a Google Apps Script service to an email inbox managed by the team and are recorded in a Google Sheets-based contact log. Submitting a form does not create a lawyer-client or other professional relationship.

8. Newsletter and marketing

Newsletter and update emails are separate from service inquiries and are sent only if you opt in using the unticked consent box. You can unsubscribe at any time by replying to a message or contacting the privacy contact; we will stop sending marketing emails.

9. Analytics and measurement

Where enabled, the website uses Google Analytics. Analytics storage is switched off by default and is granted only if you choose “Accept analytics” in the cookie banner. See the Cookie Policy for details and how to withdraw.

10. WhatsApp and Meta

The WhatsApp button and links open WhatsApp (a Meta service) when you click them. Messages you send there are handled under WhatsApp’s own terms and privacy policy. The website does not load Meta advertising scripts.

11. AI chat assistant

The chat assistant answers from an approved library of answers. Your typed question is matched on our server and is not sent to an AI provider. For languages other than English, the approved answer text (not your question) may be translated by an AI service (Groq). A technical server log records the question text, language and how it was answered. Do not enter sensitive personal data in the chat. The chat gives general information only and is not legal advice.

12. Service providers

We use service providers to run the website and handle inquiries, including Google (analytics, Apps Script, Sheets and email), Groq (translation of approved chat answers), Google Maps (map on the Contact page) and our website hosting provider. We do not sell your personal data.

13. Who receives your data

Members of the Golden Visa Greece / Synergia team who handle inquiries, the service providers above, and professionals or authorities where you ask us to involve them or the law requires it.

14. International transfers

Some of these providers may process data outside your country or outside the European Economic Area. Where personal data is transferred internationally, this must be done in line with applicable data-protection law.

15. How long we keep data

We keep personal data only for as long as needed for the purpose it was collected, and as required by law. Inquiry records, newsletter subscriptions and analytics data are different categories and may be kept for different periods.

16. Your rights

Subject to applicable law, you may have the right to access your data, correct it, have it deleted, restrict or object to its use, receive it in a portable format, and withdraw consent at any time. To exercise a right, contact the privacy contact.

17. Complaints

You may also lodge a complaint with the data-protection supervisory authority in the country where you live or work, or in Greece.

18. Automated decisions

We do not use your data for decisions based solely on automated processing that significantly affect you. The chat assistant provides general information only.

19. Security

We use organisational and technical measures intended to protect personal data against unauthorised access, loss or misuse. No online service can be guaranteed to be completely secure.

20. Children

Our forms are intended to be completed by adults. Family-residence information on this website is general information and does not mean we invite children to submit data. If you believe a child has sent us personal data, please contact us.

21. Third-party links

This website links to other websites, such as official government pages. They have their own privacy practices, which we do not control, so please read their policies.

22. Updates

We may update this policy as the website or the law changes. The current version is the one published on this page.
